THE RIGHT COURSE OF ACTION
- The decision to move from a place of illness (spiritual, emotional, temporal) and issues to a place of wholeness is one of the hardest decisions a believer will ever have to make.
Luke 17:11-19
11 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.
13 And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
14 So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
17 So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18 "Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?"
19 And He said to him, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."
PROCESS OF CLEANSING FOR A LEPER: Leviticus 14:1
Leprosy: is symbolic of sin in the bible. It is a sickness and brings with it issues. It stifles relationships and is recognized upon manifestation.
GOD IS ONLY INTERESTED IN WHOLISTIC WORSHIP AND SERVICE
Lev 14:11 (The leper was presented only at the door of the tabernacle)
And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
Rom 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Five actions that a believer must take to be released into wholeness:
1) You must realize that the current situation you are facing is not for you. (v 17:13)
· You are more than what the enemy say you are
· This is not right
· I will not die like this
· I am fearfully and wonderfully made
2) You must listen to the voice of my redeemer (v 14)
· The past have a voice
· Your friends have voices
· The system has a voice
· The doctor has a voice
3) You must walk with those going your direction (v 14)
· The sick can’t help the sick (pool of Bethesda 38yrs)
· Right relationships heal certain issues and inner scars. (Ruth)
4) You must move to start the process of healing (v 14)
· Never despise wise counsel
Proverbs 8:11-14
11 For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.
12 "I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion.
13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.
· Every step in the right direction will release healing in your life.
· Moving with the progressive crowd brings progressiveness.
5) You must keep your heart towards God (v 15-19)
· If your heart is towards God you will see your healing
· You will have a heart of repentance
· You will have a voice of praise
· You will step out from the crowd towards God
· You will be extraordinary
· You will receive wholeness from God (v 19)
